Will a US withdrawal from Afghanistan send the wrong kind of message to Iran, other hostile actors in the Middle East, or elsewhere? : political geography

Since the withdrawal of the United States from Afghanistan. He was met with a mixture of applause but with a great sense of anger. Many people refer to years of training and financial assistance to everyone scattered away .

I feel this might be sending the wrong kind of message to other geopolitical actors. All it takes is simply to destroy American lives and money, and the Americans will withdraw, just like Vietnam. Since Iran and Pakistan were next to each other, they had seats in the front row, looking at the whole situation. Pakistan has been accused of aiding militants and other prominent terrorist organizations, especially in Afghanistan. Afghan president at that time, President Ashraf Ghani advertiser:

The Taliban insurgency will not last for a month if it loses its sanctuary in neighboring Pakistan

When it comes to Iran, they have learned, right? To harass the proxy groups that will eventually become unsustainable for the United States, the Americans also withdraw.

Isn’t this the wrong kind of message America wants to send to its geopolitical enemies? Especially countries like China or Russia?

important note: I am not well versed in geopolitics and I was curious and felt the need to ask you guys who are more understanding in this situation than I am. Thanks for your time in answering this question of mine.
