Elena Canero Reed is set to run the United States, but she will first need to survive seventh grade. The new trailer for Season 2 of “Diaries of a Future President” shows middle school student (Tess Romero) shocked when she finds out that “everything has changed” over the summer — her best friend has got a boyfriend, and her mother’s boyfriend is moving in as her brother struggles with his sexuality.
“I had high expectations for this year. Now I feel lost,” Elena admits. No everything She has changed – still guided by herself in the future, her role is played by Gina Rodriguez “Jane the Virgin”.
The second season of “Diaries of a Future President” begins August 18 on Disney+. The series is loosely based on the life of creator Ilana Peña.
