The man who slaughtered 5 people on Wednesday – including two children – at a home in South Carolina has been identified as a former NFL player. Philip AdamsBased on the reports.
Officials believe the 32-year-old Adams – a pick from the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft – broke into a home in Rock Hill, South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon and killed 5 people.
The victims have been identified and are 70 years old Dr. Robert LeslieHis 69-year-old wife, Barbara Leslie – And their grandchildren 9 years old Ada Leslie And 5 years Noah Leslie.
The fifth victim is 38 years old James LewisHe was working in the house when the gunman opened fire, killing him.
A sixth person was shot – but this person survived and is being treated in a nearby hospital.
It was an angry hunt for the gunman.
But the case took another dark turn Thursday morning … when sources say that officials found the body of Philip Adams, who appeared to have committed suicide around midnight Thursday, with a gunshot.
According to reports, there was previous contact between Adams and the victims – the footballer’s parents live in the area, and Philip has reportedly received treatment by Dr. Robert Leslie.
Adams was a South Carolina defensive star in the late 2000s before being drafted by the 49ers in 2010.
He bounced back to the New England Patriots and Oakland Riders – he played 52 NFL matches before his NFL career ended after the 2013 season.
