A seal that looks like it’s laughing, a monkey that looks like it’s singing and a starling is so grumpy – this year’s finalists feature animals in comedic moments captured by photographers from around the world.

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards Founded by Paul Johnson-Hicks and Tom Slam, both professional photographers and passionate conservationists.

In addition to providing some relief, the competition aims to highlight the important message of wildlife conservation in an engaging and positive way, working with competition partner Save Wild Orangutans.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on October 22nd.

In the meantime, here are some of the finalist’s posts that might make you smile.
