I’m ashamed to say, when I was younger, I assumed they were “dramatic”.
There was / was a lot of domestic racism in Canada and I was / I (working on it) regardless.
It makes me think of a mass grave of children feeling sick. What we did to these people is disgusting. Canada needs to start its compensation talks.
Because I was trying to be better about my racism. I recently heard a Member of Parliament (a Member of Parliament about those they don’t know) spoke very ruthlessly about the fact that a lot of the reserves don’t even have running water (something I knew nothing about (white concession ??)).
How can Canada claim to be so much better in terms of human rights than other countries, still turning a blind eye to these atrocities.
It really is a patriotic disgrace. Hope we can do something to start the healing process.
