Celebrity broadcaster Katie Kay spent her last day at the BBC on Thursday, marking nearly 30 years of service at the broadcaster.
She tweeted: Great day for me today. I first wrote for the BBC in Zimbabwe in 1990. Today I say goodbye. BBCWorld has been such a great place to call home, which is why I took so long to leave!
The broadcaster has spent the past five years alongside Christian Fraser on Beyond 100 Days
It started as a temporary setup, examining Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office in 2016. But as stories begin to evolve exiting the American political scene in unprecedented ways, the BBC has become global.
