Israel-Gaza: What does the law say about the fighting

0

The legal evidence used by the British Armed Forces states that military necessity permits the state to use force, unless otherwise prohibited, which is “required to achieve the legitimate purpose of the conflict, that is, complete or partial submission to the enemy as soon as possible and with the least expenditure of life and resources”. The argument that Israeli bombing of Gaza is ineffective because it has always failed to stop rocket attacks may, on the one hand, indicate the futility of the use of force in this context. But from the standpoint of military necessity, it may justify the use of greater force as much as is necessary to achieve the goal of avoiding attacks.
