Lawmakers in Hungary have passed legislation banning minors from sharing any content perceived as promoting homosexuality and transsexualism.
speaking before Legislation passed Hungarian Momentum movement Katalin Czeh said the law would make it very difficult for gays to live in the country.
I told BBC World News: “I think it is a complete shame, really, that such a vote should be held in the 21st century in Europe under the guise of a law against child sexual abuse.”
Ms Chih said her Momentum Movement party, which was part of the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament, would be looking to see what action they could take.
Viktor Orban’s right-wing government does not recognize same-sex marriage and has a law restricting same-sex adoption.
