1. Angela Deem and Michael Elismane

Two days after the surgery, Angela says goodbye to her friend, Jojo. Jojo has to go home and Angela does better now, but she knows not having her friend there to help her would be a difficult adjustment. She’s still in a lot of pain.
2. But she goes out and wanders around

Angela goes to a juice store to try the things she’s already approved to drink. She does this with a walker, and brags about how convenient it is to store her cigarette pack under the seat.
3. After trying kale juice, I called Michael

Michael isn’t the most supportive during this one, but he’s clearly anxious while Angela is recovering.
4. Especially when he sees her smoking

She says that she does not smoke as regularly as before, only when she is nervous, as if that means anything when she should not smoke at all.
5. Then she told him about her plans

She has indicated that Angela needs a facelift, so she will go for another consultation with the surgeon recommended by Dr. Uping. Michael does not like this sound at all.
6. He’s “not nice to him”

It’s risky, it’s more money, and he also seems to imagine it going to give her a totally different face.
7. But Angela explains

She actually has a little “bobbing” under her chin, due to the extra skin, some unwanted fat, and muscle weakness in that area. When he loses weight, the excess skin increases and the sagging becomes more pronounced.
8. She meets the surgeon

After the thirst after him (from a woman yelling verbal insults at Michael if he’s talking to other women), Angela hears that there are real risks to the procedure, from nerve damage to the worst – as with any surgery.
9. Angela shares his concerns with Michael

She also explains Michael’s position, stating that with the ban on immigration from Nigeria, Michael may have to wait “four years” – at the time, it seemed she was contemplating the possibility of the two not being able to stay together until a new presidential election. So she called Michael and her surgeon spoke to him to reassure him that this was a facelift, not the kind of dramatic facial changes from decades ago that Michael might imagine.
10. Michael then asks the cost

Angela is so angry that he might ask. It says it’s $ 25,000.
11. Michael says this could be spent on helping them conceive a child

Angela told Michael categorically that she does and he has to accept it, but his feelings remain clear – he feels Angela should prioritize her ability to conceive children.
12. Brandon Gibbs and Julia Tropkina

Julia has temporarily moved out of Brandon’s room because she is unhappy with Brandon. She felt left out because of his conversation with Melanie. Felt attacked by her boyfriend (though let’s be real – it felt like the scene was so clear as if the production had asked Melanie to keep the attack). Worst of all, Julia was upset that Brandon wasn’t defending her – even if the conversation was driven by the producers, Brandon was extremely negative when people questioned the authenticity of their marriage.
13. Julia is still pissed off

Melanie asked her if she had married Brandon for love or for a green card, and it just struck and jolia’s nerves. But this was not the only problem.
14. Julia’s jealousy is out of control

She has admitted, on social media and now on the show, that she understands that this is a real problem. Fans are hoping that she will receive the treatment that she clearly needs to overcome this as it negatively affects her life and the lives of the people she cares about.
15. Looks like it was worse

Julia mentions something about how she actually made great strides in improving this aspect of herself because she used to be a lot more crazy about jealousy. We hope you keep making progress.
16. Julia wants to start over

She wants to be friends with Brandon’s friends, despite her insecurities and despite the ugly explosion that has happened
17. But

Julia also wants Brandon to listen to her fears and fears and to listen sincerely. It is important for their marriage that both of them make efforts to understand what is bothering the other, not just push to smooth things out.
18. They make nice

Together, they go back to their bedroom. Oooo!
19. Elizabeth Bothast and Andre Castravitt

Libby has totally caught up with yoga during the pandemic, and meets Jane, as she admits that her daughter tends to wake up completely from naps when she tries to take a few moments for herself to do yoga. Yep, that sounds like parenting.
20. As for Andre …

Elizabeth talks about the upcoming Green Card renewal status, and Jen is doing a really good job of appearing extremely sympathetic even though, well, nobody really likes Andre except for Libby.
21. But back to parenting … Elizabeth wants a nanny

Andrei is very resistant. Part of it is a very nice amount of paranoia about the nanny being such a bad person – and that’s a real concern, despite the screening options. But part of that is that Andrei absorbed some toxic thoughts from his family and from his upbringing in Moldova. He thinks that, well, Elizabeth should only be able to work and raise a child because that’s what his mom did. Is it possible? Certainly. But it is so bad, and there is no reason not to carefully choose a groomer.
22. Andre changes the topic every time he comes

Jen only recommends hiring a secret nanny for hours when Andre is away. As a human being, we know this is a terrible idea that will explode in everyone’s faces. As viewers, though, that would make for some great TV
23. Meanwhile, Andrei has his own concerns

Working in the family business is bad because the people who have spent the last few years in isolation are suddenly his co-workers, now that he needs to be hired.
24. And yes, it is a need – so he cannot quit smoking

Andrei may have photographed things in a different order, first seeking a job with Chuck and then meeting an immigration attorney, but fans are absolutely convinced that Andrei’s full session with Chuck was because they already knew he needed to be hired to look good to renew the green card. They just didn’t shoot the movie in actual order because that would be on the nose too and it might hurt their chances.
25. Andre goes to work

Chuck orders him to demolish the kitchen, apparently, so Andre does it.
26. He says it’s curative

He ventures his frustrations with a simple and totally irrational task … although the safety of this comes into question later.
27. Charlie is Mad

He tells Andre that he should have come to him, and everything goes through him – even if Chuck tells him to do something, Charlie needs to show him the ropes to make sure it doesn’t cost them time and money.
28. Also …

The gas might not be what Andre thinks, which could be a potential (serious) risk to Andre and the production crew.
29. Andre goes out furiously

He drives away like a cartoon villain, tearing a knee while he claims Charlie is jealous of him.
30. Kalani Fagata and Asuilu Paula

Kalani feels she and Asuelu are stuck in the same toxic pattern. For a few days, they coexist. Then, for a few more days, they didn’t. must be done.
31. She meets with a divorce attorney

She does so “just in case,” and it’s probably just the show (because it’s easier to explain the drama and options to the camera naturally in a formal meeting), but talking to a divorce attorney is only accidental if it happens. Be friends with a lawyer.
32. Clani shares the details

She also introduces her father into the conversation. Low was Asuelu’s sponsor, signing up to financially support him – perhaps – for ten years. The attorney says that unless Asuelu becomes a citizen, gets deported, or dies, Low could be in trouble for much longer than that if Asuelu gets a divorce.
33. There are no convincing words about this: It is political

The policy was changed so that obligations of financial support for immigration became suddenly life-long. This was a policy taken by the infamous former President Donald Trump’s administration as one of many efforts to discourage legal immigration. Now, the attorney admitted that there were real questions about whether this would be enforced, especially when someone pledged financial support prior to putting in place this policy, but for Low, it was just another strong argument for Kalani to sort things out with her stepdaughters.
34. Mike Youngquist and Natalie Murdovtseva

Natalie is very sensitive to the tensions in Trish’s house, which seems a lot more mysterious than Little Banks.
35. She is right

Trish talks face to face with Mike, talking about how Natalie is not working or “being a housewife” to Trish’s standards and that she’s worried that Natalie is using Mike to hold back. It’s unclear if Mike shares these feelings and only allows his mother to express them, or if that is all Trish and Mike allows his mom to express her concerns.
36. Natalie is getting cold

Trish doesn’t seem to welcome Natalie at all, and Natalie picks it up even if Mike seems to ignore it.
