Protesters gathered in Australia to oppose the launch of the Coronavirus vaccine program in the country.
Rallies were held in cities such as Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and were largely peaceful.
But in Melbourne, some protesters clashed with police who used pepper spray and made several arrests.
The Pfizer vaccine is due to start rolling out in Australia on Monday, and the country’s medical regulatory authority has granted provisional approval for the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
Both vaccines have undergone extensive safety checks and are already in use in many countries.
Vaccinations will not be mandatory for people in Australia.
