“Our company has worked hard to resume preparations for BTS “Map for the Soul Tour, knowing all fans have been eagerly awaiting and the duration of the Tour,” the statement read. “Due to changing circumstances beyond our control, it has become difficult to resume shows with the same scale and schedule as previously planned.”
BTS is the latest move to postpone their live plans. Earlier, Garth Brooks said that he is backing away from his big concert plans.
Originally, the BTS tour was scheduled to begin in April 2020, but was halted due to the pandemic and then in full force in the United States. Although they were unable to tour, BTS continued to give paid concerts and featured by performing recorded at the 2021 Grammys Awards. They also achieved massive singles with “Dynamite” and “ghee.”
“We are working on a viable schedule and performance format that can meet your expectations, and will provide updated notices as soon as possible,” the company said in its statement.
