Bobby Shmurda He might not have any kids of his own — but still wants to make someone’s dad feel special on Father’s Day… Rolling out the proverbial red carpet for those in the backyard who need it most.
The New York City-based rapper — fresh out of prison after six long years — gave his back to the community on Sunday…that is, helping struggling parents from various men’s shelters in his Brooklyn home neighborhood with free haircuts. By professional barbers (pro bono) and even toys for their children.
He told us that Bobby stopped at least twice on the Father’s Day tour – first arrived at the win shelter…and then moved to the Kampa men’s shelter afterwards, while serving hot meals from the Caribbean-inspired brunch menu…which has some Sweet dishes to choose from.
Some of the foods available included jerk salmon, curried chickpeas, stewed chicken, mac and cheese, scrambled eggs, mixed vegetables, fried chicken wings and even pancakes. Good eating, no doubt. BTW, Godfather Bobby’s kids were on hand to help out with the hot food handouts.
Speaking of kids… our sources say Bobby made sure to hook up the kids on site as well, handing out game consoles, hot wheel sets, board games, action figures, soccer balls, jump ropes, and princess-themed outfits. …and a Santa Claus bag full of other goodies.
And yes…we know you’re wondering the obvious. We’ve heard that Bob has been recording recently – but there’s no word on when to drop anything. keep following…
