8:32 PM Pacific Time – We were previously told that Odenkirk broke down while filming in Los Angeles, but a source close to the actor is now telling us that this happened while filming in New Mexico.
Bob Odenkirk He was taken to the hospital after collapsing on the set of his show “Better Call Saul”…and is still receiving medical care.
Production sources tell TMZ Odenkirk and the cast were shooting in New Mexico on Tuesday when the accident occurred. He told us that Odenkirk got off, and was immediately surrounded by crew members who called an ambulance.
We were told it was unclear if he was conscious when he was transferred, but a source close to Odenkirk tells us he remains in hospital under the care of doctors.
Odenkirk became a household name when he played attorney Saul Goodman in “Breaking Bad.” “Better Call Saul” – part of “Breaking Bad” – is currently releasing its sixth and final season. There is no word on how long Odenkirk and his team can finish it or whether his medical condition will delay production in any capacity.
