Countdown Until Amy Roloff marries Chris Marrick.
They have a wedding date.
After much discussion, they even agreed on a venue.
But first, Amy and Chris take a road trip for a very nice cause.
On Friday, June 4, Amy Roloff took to Instagram Stories.
As she has done many times in the past, she shared a glimpse of her road trip.
Amy and Chris have enjoyed many road trips over the years, and Amy loves to document it for her fans.
When Amy and Chris stopped at a pit stop, Amy sheds some light on the context of the trip.
“We’re on our way to Idaho,” she revealed.
Amy said they are traveling “to see some of Chris’s family.”
“His niece is graduating,” Amy added.
June is a big month for high school graduation.
“So how fun is that?” “Because road trips are fun,” Amy asked.
“Have a great weekend,” Amy expressed.
“Because I may not have cellular service,” I explained to her her good wishes.
Then Amy invited her countless fans and followers to “Have fun!”
Amy recently dropped some new wedding details in a post shared a few days before the trip.
“Wow! It’s June already. About 89 days until the big wedding,” she said.
“Time passes quickly,” Amy added. “We’re excited about it. Awesome!”
In this season of Small people, big worldWe saw Matt push an idea to attend his ex-wife’s wedding.
He suggested to Amy and Chris, in light of many factors including COVID-19, that the wedding be held at Roloff Farms.
The 110-acre property can make a very picturesque and relaxing wedding venue.
However, for very understandable reasons, Amy was very hesitant at first.
The farm is where she and Matt lived as husband and wife for many years.
It is where they raised their children.
It’s also where Amy and Matt lived separately as an ex-couple for a few years.
Before that, it was the place where Matt met, fell in love, and likely cheated with Karen Chandler.
So yes, this is an emotionally complex site.
Amy’s hesitation was very understandable.
However, it did not last forever.
This season was filmed several months before Amy made her final decision.
In the end, she and Chris chose to accept Matt’s offer.
Amy and Karen do not like each other, but they have called for a truce.
Everyone is on board to make this wedding happen.
An insider previously revealed: “Amy and Chris are now planning their ranch wedding.”
“It will be within three months,” the source added.
Insiders described it as “things converging”.
“It was Matt’s idea in the beginning,” the source shared at the time.
“And Karen agreed,” the insider added.
The source explained that Karen agreed “because they are trying to keep things amicable between all of them.”
“The reason Amy didn’t want to have her on the farm at first was the emotional history there,” the source explained.
And,” the source said, “you didn’t know if everyone was on the same page yet.”
The insider admitted that “Karen is not a big fan of Amy.”
“She feels they are more acquaintances than friends,” the source said.
“But,” the insider said, “she just wants Matt and the family to be happy and for everyone to move on.”
