A BBC investigation has uncovered widespread allegations of sexual harassment and abuse among the Afghan police.
After months of research, the BBC spoke to a number of women who said they had been raped or assaulted by their superiors or colleagues. Human rights groups say the majority of the attacks go unreported.
Momena waived anonymity to tell the BBC about what happened to her. She still works as a policewoman, although she has changed departments.
Hosni Jalil is no longer deputy interior minister. She says she thought she was turned away because she was “too loud”.
